S-500 Triumphator-M is the latest generation of air defense systems "should be developed by 2015, said CEO GSKB Almaz-Antey Igor Ashurbeyli.
"The challenge now facing us put under the state program of armament - a system Triumphator-M. This theme S-500 - theme of creation of a mobile ABM system to be finished by 2015, "- said Ashurbeyli in an interview with Kommersant .
According to him, the system will solve the problem not in steady-state version and not in a single performance, but will be able to nominate any threatened area - at the theater, which will be actual at any given time.
"Work on the S-500 are strictly in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Defense, and no claims the Ministry of Defense on this system has to date" - added Ashurbeyli.
