Diesel-electric submarine Saint Petersburg Project 677, class Lada, displacement 1,765 tons, has a length of 67 meters, width - 7,1 meters. Maximum speed underwater -surface of the reaches 21 and 10 knots respectively. Range at economical speed - 650 miles. Endurance is 45 days. The maximum diving depth - 300 meters.

Accept report was signed on 22 April, and on May 6 by order of the Commander of the Russian Navy submarine was accepted in the fleet.

"Today we can say that the class was held, and a series of submarines will be built", - said rep of Navy, without specifying the number of serial SSK of Project 677 ("Lada").
